A Weekend to Remember

A Weekend to Remember

Well, how lucky are we to live in a town that puts on a weekend like the last! The castle events- I booked Madness as a family night out and it was fun. Lots of Dancing (which I love)- if you know you know!!

I was lucky enough to go to James and Elbow too, both evenings were fabulous, and singing along to ‘One Day Like This’ will be a memory that stays with me forever. The setting was magical, looking at the castle walls lit up and the trees framing the stage, I felt truly transported – it was like having our very own Glastonbury right here in Ludlow.

A very well organised event, they even managed the weather too! I didn’t need a waterproof this year! I opted for my Emu trainers 3/3 of the nights, so comfy for being on your feet all evening, another piece that attended all nights- was my Elie B bag, I swapped out the straps each night to co-ordinate with my outfit and wore it cross-body, so I didn’t lose anything, it was the perfect size to fit everything in.

I was offered a ticket for Sunday too but after 3 events and working, I felt I’d had plenty of fun. But… after hearing Anne Marie from my garden, I wished I would have gone- sounded so fun. How incredible it is to be part of a community that can come together and enjoy such fantastic events. Here's to more unforgettable weekends like this!

Also, now I am booking the outdoor cinema tickets to sing along to Mama Mia – Outfit planning already, obviously I have a few to choose from but the stock is so exciting and nothing beats a new outfit (maybe a new you!).

The sale is on at the moment; hopefully, this weather will continue well into September. Pop in and have a look at the old and the new and let's get ready to have a fab rest of summer!
