Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you all. I know it's mid-January so it's late but as I am sure you all feel the Christmas and New Year weeks start to merge into one!

I'm going to start this blog by saying Thank you so much to all of you who enjoyed the last ones and have commented or come into the shop to buy and chat about my ramblings. It is lovely.

This year I am lucky enough to say I had a lovely family Christmas. The shop was very busy over the Christmas period and into the new year. I must admit many of those purchases were my own! This lovely Summum dress was just perfect for all those family Christmas events.

But what to wear now?

Maybe you have an event to attend this month, so don’t forget we have a sale and there are some fabulous bargains to be had.

Yes, the sale is in full swing but those who know me know that I am not so keen on the sale! It’s the new deliveries that excite me, new transitional pieces that can cheer up a gloomy January day, but you know you will have plenty of wear through to spring and even some of our summers.

Or the old reliable pieces that you opt for every time! If you've been in recently you will have seen me in my Amazing Woman Poncho, the perfect extra layer that you can throw over anything. (one in every colour please!)

I am going to be positive; we will hopefully have a fab summer. That's months away, we need to focus on the now! – so maybe wool socks to make January that little bit cosier or a new coat as you are tired of the ones in the cupboards? Or a piece of our Envy jewellery to add a bit of sparkle and remind us of Christmas?

Or a bra fitting...

Please make an appointment and I can help you into the best fit/style for you or we can just look at pieces to refresh your collection.

Don’t spend the next three months just dreaming of spring/summer. We need to be the best version of ourselves in the winter months to keep us happy and healthy so we can enjoy what’s to come.

I am sat with a small glass of rose and some cheese savouries. It's January and no month to deny ourselves. I think the dark mornings, nights, and cold are enough to contend with!

Thanks again for reading, Melissa x
